Hello 

I’m Joanne and I love stories. So, here’s mine. 

I’ve played and worked with words my whole life, from writing stories to go with pictures I’d draw as a child, to training as a journalist. 

I worked in public sector communications for 15 years before becoming a freelance communications consultant. I now work with all kinds of organisations including local authorities, government agencies, charities and businesses. 

I’ve led award-winning and nationally recognised behaviour change and awareness-raising campaigns. I’ve managed teams and major projects on topics including outdoor recreation, tourism, climate, nature, active travel, water safety, planning, housing, education and much more. 

I bring experience and enthusiasm to everything I do, providing a trusted and supportive pair of hands to deliver great communications that achieves its objectives.
